The foundations of Rpm Polat Makine were laid in 1955 when Mr. Rıdvan POLAT’s father, Demir Ali Polat, started his career in turning, encouraged by his uncle Rasim Şentürk. In 1967, Demir Ali Polat established Polat Torna, focusing on the production and revision of parts like truck axles. During the 1974 Cyprus Peace Operation, as many companies faced difficulties obtaining machine parts due to the American embargo, Demir Ali Polat stepped up by providing local production parts to companies in need. In 1978, he began producing and refurbishing spare parts for construction machinery for Çukurova Holding, the distributor of Caterpillar, the largest construction equipment manufacturer in the U.S. These achievements positioned the Polat family as key players in the industry.

In 1984, Demir Ali Polat, Nurettin POLAT, and Rıdvan POLAT founded Polat Makine Yedek Parça Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. In the same year, at the age of 14, Mr. Rıdvan POLAT entered the business world and began his journey in the construction machinery spare parts sector. The family company quickly expanded its product range to 500 different types, solidifying its strong presence in the industry.
